The “Summer School on Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations” is a series of academic events advocated by Professor XIN Zhouping from the Institute of Mathematics at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. It is jointly organized by 19 domestic universities and specially funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. The aim of this event is to promote academic exchange and cooperation, as well as enhance the professional level and research capabilities of young teachers and graduate students in China. So far, 17 successful sessions have been held, generating positive societal effects and profound academic impacts with the strong support and active participation of renowned experts and scholars both domestically and internationally.
The 18th Summer School on Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations will be held online from August 3rd to August 24th, 2020. It will be hosted by Harbin Engineering University. The school will offer a series of lectures and foundational courses for young teachers and graduate students. The main topics include lectures on harmonic analysis, lectures on fluid mechanics equations, Neumann problems and optimal transport boundary value problems for elliptic equations, as well as stochastic differential equations and PDEs. During this period, renowned scholars from China and abroad will be invited to deliver a series of presentations.
