To commemorate the 115th International Women's Day, the School of Mathematical Sciences organized a series of engaging thematic activities. These events were designed to encourage female members to excel in their respective roles.
On the afternoon of March 6th, the school organized an event entitled "Elegant Beauty, Natural Fragrance". The floral art instructor provided the female members with instructions on the fundamental techniques of flower arrangement, including flower selection, color coordination, the pruning of flower stems, and also conducted a flower arrangement demonstration. The female members took part in hands-on practice, creating unique and distinctive flower arrangement pieces.
On March 7th, the General Secretary of the school, Yanbo Wang , and Associate Dean Huanzhang Ling, on behalf of the school, visited and extended greetings to the female members of the school, conveying festive greetings and best wishes to all female members.
The General Secretary also mentioned that we cannot reach our high-quality development goals without the sweat and tears from female members. Women have truly played the role of "Women Hold Up Half the Sky". He hopes that all female members will improve their abilities.
