International Exchange Lecture Held at the School of Mathematical Sciences

On the afternoon of March 18, 2025, the School of Mathematical Sciences convened an international exchange lecture intheMeeting Room 401 of the Yifu Building. The event aimed to furnish students with current information regarding international exchange prospects, facilitating a deeper comprehension of pertinent policies and programs, and consequently, expanding their academic and global horizons.

The lecture program included presentations by Mr. Tongli Niu, Director of International Programs, International Office,HEU, and Professor Fei Wang, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Science, National University of Singapore. The speakers offered detailed analyses of the university's international exchange policies and the NUS  international summer school.

Director Tongli Niu presented a overview, "Empowering Global Competence Through International Exchange," which elucidated the university's extant international exchange initiatives. These encompassed student exchange programs, short-term study abroad opportunities, and collaborative training programs. The presentation emphasized the university's policy framework and financial provisions designed to promote student engagement in international exchange activities. Students were encouraged to submit applications and capitalize on opportunities to augment their global competitiveness. Director Niu's presentation was both informative and methodically structured, furnishing students with detailed guidance.

Professor Fei Wang provided a comprehensive introduction of the NUS international summer school, encompassing curriculum specifics, application protocols, and residential accommodations. Furthermore, he presented testimonials from prior participants, effectively demonstrating the program's efficacy in accelerating academic proficiency and expanding global perspectives within a condensed timeframe. Professor Fei Wang strongly recommended that students capitalize on this advantageous opportunity.
