On September 10th, coinciding with the 41st Teachers' Day, Deputy Party Secretary and President Yingdong Song, Assistant President Hang Yin, and Director of the Faculty Affairs Department Xiaodi Wang visited the School of Mathematical Sciences to extend their sincere holiday greetings and express appreciation to faculty members.

At the School of Mathematical Sciences, the visit coincided with an instructional training session where the school had organized outstanding faculty members to provide pedagogical guidance to new 2025 hires for their first courses. Yingdong Song encouraged the incoming faculty to learn from senior colleagues to adapt to their new roles in teaching and research. He emphasized the significance of mathematics as a foundational discipline, highlighting that a solid mathematical background is essential for cultivating innovative talents. He expressed hope that the school will continue to leverage the supporting role of fundamental sciences to contribute to the university's development.
