The team of combinatorialmathematics and graph theory is committed to the research of the frontier fundamental problems of combinatorial graph theory, and carries out theoretical research on mathematical problems in the fields of hypergraph and tensor spectrum theory, spectrum analysis of complex networks, spanning tree counting and labeling theory of graphs, Ramsey theory of graphs, generalized inverse theory of matrices and tensors, etc. Through graph and hypergraph theory, we study the centrality, community structure and network optimization of complex networks, as well as their applications in emerging fields such as big data and artificial intelligence.
The team hosted 8 projects of National Natural Science Foundation and 6 projects of Natural Science Foundation of Heilongjiang Province, and won 2 second prizes of Science and Technology Awards of universities in Heilongjiang Province. More than 200 papers from the team have been published in domestic and foreign academic journals, including more than 120 papers indexed by SCI and 2 papers cited in the top 1% by ESI. Four monographs have been published in the Science Press, one of which was funded by the National Science and Technology Publishing Fund. The team contains 6 members, including 2 professors and 4 associate professors. There are 10 doctoral students and more than 20 postgraduate students.
