The 16th Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations Summer School, sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China Mathematics Tianyuan Fund, advocated by Professor Xin Zhouping of the Institute of Mathematics at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and jointly organized by 17 domestic universities, is a series of academic activities. The aim of this event is to promote academic exchanges and cooperation, improve the professional level and research capabilities of young teachers and graduate students in China. It has been successfully held for 15 sessions. With the strong support and active participation of well-known experts and scholars at home and abroad, it has produced good social effects and far-reaching academic influence.
The 16th Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations Summer School, supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China Mathematics Tianyuan Fund, will be held in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province from July 10 to July 31, 2018. It will be hosted by Harbin Engineering University and will offer a series of lectures and basic courses for graduate students. The main contents include: Introduction to Complex Fluids, Mathematical Biology, Elliptic Equations, and Boltzmann Equations. During this period, renowned scholars from home and abroad will also be invited to give series of reports.
