Recently, a conference on representation theory and geometry was held by the college. The topics of the conference reports include hypersurface singularities, low-dimensional manifolds, infinite-dimensional integrable systems, and quantum algebra and its representation. The main organizers of the meeting are Professor Lin Zongzhu from the University of Kansas, and Professor Fan Zhaobing, Dean of the School of Mathematics of Harbin Engineering University.
On the morning of June 26, the meeting started with a report by Nicolai Reshetikhin from the Yau Mathematics Research Center of Tsinghua University. The topics of his lectures was infinite-dimensional integrable systems and Poisson Lie groups.
Professor Vyacheslav Futorny of Southern University of Science and Technology discussed weight representations of finite W-algebras, especially their Gelfand-Tsetlin representations. Professor Ming Lu introduced the Drinfeld type representation of the quasi-split affine i-quantum group. On the morning of June 27, Professor Wang Yilong delivered a report on the topic of "Modular Tensor Category and Quantum Invariant". In addition, this report provided a stage for domestic outstanding young scholars such as Dr. Bao, Yixin of Harbin Institute of Technology Shenzhen Branch, Dr. Cheng Jiahao of Nanchang Hangkong University, Dr. Jiang, Kai of Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Dr. Ma, Guorui of Tsinghua University and Dr Xiao, Husileng and doctoral student Tong, Bolun of Harbin Engineering University to demonstrate their achievements.
