In order to promote the high-quality development of mathematics and strengthen the exchange between the basic science of mathematics and the dominant disciplines, the College of Mathematical Sciences held a thematic event “Science and Technology Salon” at lunch time on December 16th. The event was hosted by Professor ZHENG Xiongbo, Vice Dean of College of Mathematical Sciences.
There were more than thirty young professors who are from College of Shipbuilding Engineering, College of Aerospace and Civil Engineering, College of Underwater Acoustic Engineering, College of Computer Science and Technology, College of Information and Communication Engineering attending the event.
Those young ideas crashed, and all the professors shared their opinions about collaboration and development. Later, as invited speakers, Professor DENG Tingquan and Professor XUE Ling shared their successful experience in the National Natural Science Fund.
This event provided a brand-new platform for all the researchers to share their opinions, and hopefully it could help them to improve their scientific research ability.
